In a joint project with the latvian women’s ensemble “Vox iubilantis”, composer Andreas Theobald and historian Andris Lev\u0101ns we’ll be musically exploring the medieval past of Riga’s St. Maria Magdalene’s monastery. Authentic chants from medieval R\u012bga will be performed for the first time since the dissolution of the monastery alongside electronical music that was commissioned for this project.
